This is the piece that my practitioner liked the most. My idea was to have a variety of 43 envelopes mounted together because my character had some sort of important link to writing 43 letters. I then drew the portrait of the character on top with a black biro pen since that is a writing pen and my character likely would have used this kind of pen. This took a while to finish as the whole thing was roughly A1 size. I like how it turned out although maybe I should've made it a bit more interesting by including things like stamps or strips of text from the written letters.
This is the second version. This one is basically the drawing you can see from the earlier post from my sketch book. I overlayed the image on top of the photographed image of the envelopes with adobe Photoshop. This piece isn't as good as the one above because it seems to be too lazily done, the portrait seems too young and it turned out a bit blurry when it got printed onto A3 paper.
