Past Briefs

I made this little guy for the 'Hide a Secret' brief. The aim of the brief was to make something without having to draw on or use paper. The piece had to be creative and give a sense that a secret was being hidden. I made this out of a Pringles container, its meant to look like my face. :P The hair can open up and pieces of card with hidden secrets were placed inside. Nine of those secrets are fake and only one is true which gives context to the idea of hiding a secret.

This piece was for the 'Something beginning with A' brief. I had to choose something beginning with the letter A, in this case I chose an angel. I then was only allowed to use paper and nothing else to make the final art work. I did use a compass to poke at the paper to create the image, I'm pretty sure that was okay to do...

This one is for the 'Opposite' brief. Basically, I needed to make a piece that gave the sense of opposition by using only the colours of black and white. I crafted this piece with white paper and black card.

This is a double page spread for the '£1 draw' brief. I had to go into the Preston market and buy something for £1 or under and I bought a little horse trinket. I then had to draw it out from observation 100 times using different media. After I finished the drawings, I used them and edited them on Photoshop. I then included 99 horse breeds into the image because we also needed text.
