Over the summer I've been given a brief to make artwork on whatever subject that I wanted. I decided to go with star signs because I thought It would be cool to turn each one into a character. At first I nearly picked random things for my chosen theme but then realized it was a bit too vague. These drawings you see below took me quite a lot of time to complete. About 4-6 hours was used for each star sign. I drew them all in a brown sketchbook because I thought the colours would stand out well with a brown background. The media I used include pencils, coloured pencils, fine liner pen, white gel pen. I wanted each drawing to look like a sort of mythical looking creature as I enjoy making up different sorts of characters designs.
