Mermaid

I tried practicing a bit with water colour pencils on this mermaid drawing. I still don't think that I'm good at using them but hopefully I'll get better with more practice. I also used some water colour pencils just to touch it up a little.

Mermaid-  Mermaids are usually thought to be kind and innocent natured with beauty that matched no other. Their bodies would be half fish at the bottom half but human for the top half. In the most recent stories, it is said that they sing songs at sea, hypnotizing men with their voice and beauty to make them come closer until they're close enough to be pulled down into the water to be drowned. Some say that even well intentioned mermaids are dangerous because they either have forgotten or don't even know that humans can't breathe underwater so they accidently kill them when they pull them down into the water.
