Phoenix Hanging

I tried making another hanging because my dragon one was pretty cool and tutors like it. I decided on a phoenix because phoenixes and Chinese dragons are coupled together a lot in Chinese mythology. They represent the female and the male in all things and also the Yin Yang symbol.
I drew the head and body separately because I wanted to print the body out on A3 paper and the head on A4 paper then attach them on later just to make it that little bit bigger rather than just having them both on A4. At first I wanted to just print out 2 copies of each piece and have them stuck on side to side but then I figured only one side would be shown to anyone who look at it so I just left both copies separate.

Phoenix- A mythical fire bird that with a golden tailed feather. They have a life cycle of 500-1000 years and at the near end of their death they build a nest which then ignites along with the bird. I turns to ashes where a young baby phoenix is reborn or a new egg appears. It is said that the Phoenix is immortal because of this phenomenon but some say it's the offspring of the phoenix that just died before it.
